Re: [APML] The perfect astrophoto book (Was: North American Nebula (ordodging aurora))

> Robert, any idea when your new edition will be coming out?

Hi Kevin,

There is nothing in concrete on that yet. Like I said, I have to finish
school for this semester before I have the time to address any updates to
the book. It is just something that I know I have to start working on just
after New Year so I will have it ready about the time the stack of second
printing editions are all gone from the warehouse. Its a slow process. I
would not be surprized if was not until the end of 2003.

It is a given that the next version of the book will deal more (much more!)
with digital processing. Its amazing how fast the who field has sprung up
since I finished writing the manuscript for the book. This area was in such
infancy back then that I deliberately glossed over it because whatever I
would have writen would have been out of date within a few months. Today I
think things are more stable. It may be possible to actually get something
into print before the rules change <G>.
