Yes, that is true! I have a 6" f/8 (f=1200mm) newtonian with excelent
optics that I will try for CCD stuff soon. Unfortunately it is not
designed for film work (vignetting). I am currently looking for a fast
telescope in the 800mm range that illuminates a 35mm frame.
As you wrote: One can never have enough telescopes!
