This is the youngest Moon I've imaged...just over 30hrs...
I think anything less you would need extremely clear and transparent skies.
I read an article in one of the magazines a few years ago talking about
folks going to the top of Mt. Evans in Colorado (14,000ft elevation) to
maximize their chances.  I think they were after a 17hr Moon....sound
correct?
