read carefully: KAF-22000CE. it's a color chip. thes one shot color
cameras are great for daytime photos, but use interpolation to get the
RGB information, and also do not weight the color properly for
astronomical purposes. the pixcels are 9 microns, same as the ST-8 and
FLI 6303, but remember that the color resolution will be much lower (not
sure of the exact size). Has anyone seen a truly remarkable astro image
taken with a color chip? besides the planets, I haven't. Stick with the
ST10-xe till they come up with a larger version of that, if it's even
neccesary- Volker makes a good point about optics.
