This set of images where the first
with my C11 and I was surprised by how long the exposures needed to
be.
I was shooting with my 5" refractor and
expected the exposures with the C11 to be much shorter. I will
definitely
go with a longer exposure next time, with
the trees in my yard it will need to wait until next year.
I also noticed the star ghost on
some other images. I was having some problems with my ST-4 running away at
the
time and thought that I had sticking
relays, but this doesn't look like the same symptoms. I just don't think I
would have bumped the scope on other
images on the same night. The color on the raw slide show a dark red
nebula,
but I was afraid of pushing it to far.
