Hi Bill,

I attempted the Veil at OSP and also did not do well.
I used a TV-85 with the .8 reducer (480mm @ f5.6).
Manually guided 60 minute shots on the 'old' RG 400.
No filter, no hypering. All that showed was a little
of the brightest part. I was disappointed as that was
near the top of my 'to get' list. Skies were so good
up there I just can't believe so little showed up. Oh
well, I did get a good shot of my top target, M31, so
I've got nothing to complain about.

I gues I'd also like to know if some other aid is
required for a good shot of the Veil.
