RE: [APML] New FILM images

John, I like those "grueling" exposure times. My observatory for the
schmidt is almost done. Got the roof on this weekend.

Your work is very good, making me chomp at the bit.

Subject: [APML] New FILM images

There have recently been postings about some excellent CCD images, but
things have been really quiet on the film front. So, here are some of the
latter. I have been fiddling around with Provia 100F and Ektachrome E200,
feeding small quantities of these films to my pet Schmidt. At f1.5 the
Provia film seems to come out a bluey-green, and was difficult to color
balance properly. E200 rocked. All images are from a single negative each,
and I think that I am finally getting the hang of curves. :-) Here are my
results, all shot from the same location on the same night, with grueling
exposure times......
