Hi All,
I was able to capture another Ha last night (makes simple b&w CCD imaging a
real
adventure now) with a sky transparency of maybe 7 last night and faintest
mag. of 4.9
visible at our location. The NGC6888 image I posted a few days ago was a 20
x 6 minute
combination while this is a 12x10 minute. There appears to be a slightly
better S/N on the
new one. Next I will try a 6 x 20 minute for another comparison.
This image is of the Pickering Triangular Wisp region of the Veil Nebula
Complex using an
FLI IMG6303E CCD camera on my 20" Newt in 2x2 bin mode for an image scale of
1.5
arcsec/pixel and can be found at:
