Have you gone all the way to the bottom of the VIEW list? Check your
settings in VIEW > "FOLDER OPTIONS" then select the VIEW tab.
Look in "Hidden Files" section, check "Show all Files".
Next be sure to UNCHECK "Hide file extensions for know file types"
(probably the one that got checked accidentally).
After you're done first be sure APPLY then to go to the 'Make all your
folders look the same' section at the top of the panel and click "Like Current
Folder" button...joe :)
