   12" Schaefers have no backlash! As for the MI 250, you should communicate directly with Larry... his web site is: mountaininstruments.com

     One of these days I am converting to CCD... the 2KX3K chip is already out there... SBIG is coming out with a camera supporting it with a new download system some time next year... that's when I'll bite... ST 10 still too small in total image size. By squeezing all this information out of 7331 I am teaching myself how to max out the detail on much larger objects. I feel good about astrophotogaphy again... got a good site with good film... things are looking up. Maybe the stock market will take notice...  :-)
