I've seen discussion of commercial bolts like this for Celestrons on the
SCT User group.
One reference was to a Tomita bolt, and there is a web page for them with
enough
english and photos to see what they are describing:

Ted Ishikawa of Hutech told me they would be marketing one some time this
summer.
What I can't understand is why Celestron or meade don't sell something like
this as an optional accessory!
