Re: [APML] STV set up with rough seeing
Hello,
Last night the seeing was a bit "suspect" but I got the STV to calm down by putting the aggressiveness at .2 .... and using a one second exposure. Try this if you have a high power instrument, it is nothing short of amazing compared to the ST-4 ... the STV kept the star bottled up... when set at aggressiveness of 1.0 it tried to chase the seeing and was all over the place. To anyone considering buying this guider, as it says on the read outs... " Do It!" Now that I have had a chance to put it through its paces it is like a dream come true... you have total control over the guiding... if not the seeing conditions.
