have you done any imaging with the Visac yet?.. the SP may be a bit undersized,
put perhaps if you collapse the legs to minimum extension then it may be rigid
enough.. the tripod is the weak point in all these mounts. I once made a set of
steel legs for my GP and it was very solid, very similar to a Losmandy GM8 I
owned.
