2.4 arc seconds is pathetic for RA for the 600 mount! What settings are you using? It looks like you have it set up to chase the seeing around. Either that, or your seeing is very unstable. On good nights this fall I have gotten sub arc seconds on a 600 mount using just the self-guiding chip in the ST10E with my 8" F12.5 Mak-Cass attached.
