Re: [APML] Unwanted light in my astrophotos
Greetings,
It sounds to me like and internal reflection and/or glare of some sort. I would
take out any eyepieces and accessories and look into your tube during the day.
You should be able to see some kind of internal reflections. Are you using a dew
shield?

When I see this light in my eyepiece it always is very close to some bright star. As I move in the direction of the bright star, it becomes clear that the light is coming from the star. You can see the crescent actually move into the star as I move the telescope so that I am focused on the star. I have checked to see that my focuser(a JMI) and camera (a 35mm nicon) are tightly attached and they appear to be. What is this and more importantly, how do I get rid of it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
