What is the radius of curvature of the focal plane of your cassegrain? It is
14.6" for my RC.

The RC is not more difficult to collimate than an equivalent classical
cassegrain. They're essentially the same telescope with different curves
on the mirrors. This myth has been perpetuated by people who are unable to
grasp what is necessary to get a scope collimated. It's not easy to get
good collimation across the film plane but this is true of any two mirror
scope where the mirrors are completely adjustable.
