Re: [APML] NGC 7331
Tony,
Stunning Photo ! This is also one of my favorites visually in the 12.5"newt.
I have to agree with you on Royal gold 200. I tried some myself Sunday night
(unhypered) and braketed some exposures on M31 to test my skyfog level with
this film and have to say, at 45 minutes with a 8" f3.5 I was amazed at the
eveness of the background sky and the colors.
I think this film may be the "real deal" ! Its definatly going in the camera
next time out.

version of NGC 7331 to my site. I was going to zoom in closer but the two
negatives that I needed were a tiny bit soft because I thought I did not
need to refocus from the previous night (ha-ha-ha!!!)

hypered Royal Gold 200, both 75 minute exposures at f/8 with the Cassegrain.
I processed the files to show as much faint stuff as possible but also to
keep detail down to the core... you can see the arms spiralling in like a
snail. I LIKE this film...!!!
