Re: [APML] NGC 7331

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are having a pleasent evening.... I have uploaded a "raw" version of NGC 7331 to my site. I was going to zoom in closer but the two negatives that I needed were a tiny bit soft because I thought I did not need to refocus from the previous night (ha-ha-ha!!!)
I'll try again tonight WITH focusing. This is from two negatives with hypered Royal Gold 200, both 75 minute exposures at f/8 with the Cassegrain. I processed the files to show as much faint stuff as possible but also to keep detail down to the core... you can see the arms spiralling in like a snail. I LIKE this film...!!!

So far I can see six H II regions in the galaxy at high res... more will probably show up with better signal to noise.

       Tony
