         Stop it down one or two stops, but yes, it is good then.  One lens 
not on your list is the 105mm Nikkor.  Extremely sharp.  Not a great size 
in some ways, as it from a personal point of view, you almost need 200mm 
lens or higher before piggy back shots start to look - oh, what's a good 
word - "interesting?"  But for pure sharpness, hard to beat the 105.
         The toher lens you do nto have listed but might be worth lookign 
up is the 180mm ED nikkor.

         Buy a copy of Shutterbug magazine, and look up the used prices in 
there.  Also, on-line at http://www.keh.com is a great place for used gear, 
as they have a reputation for standing behing their product.
         So l.ook at these used prices and judge accordingly.  You should 
get for less on Ebay, considering the extra risk.
