Dear Larry,

    I am amazed at the in-depth knowledge of the conflict that some of our 
APML members have... you guys are real historians. I have learned more about 
the history and the problems from your postings than any text book... thank 
you. You raise a good question... with the almost obscene amount of money 
that the Arab world is making off of petroleum sales, you would think that 
they would help out their "brothers"... but it is my understanding that there 
are still "tribal" boundaries securely in place... they are still nomads at 
heart.

     For me at this point, it is the next DOM coming up... I am going to give 
all this a rest for a few days and attempt to get life back to normal ... for 
me that means more film tests and shooting with the new film that shows 
promise. The smoke is all but gone from the forest fires... and I saw some 
planes go by last night.
