Re: [APML] Planes

Herb,

I think many share your sentiment. I deliberately went outside last night
to observe (in the sense of respect) the fact that there were no flights.
Every two to three minutes a plane en route (140 miles out) approaches
Kennedy airport directly over my house in NE Pennsylvania. Last night it
occurred to me that for perhaps the only time in my life (I hope), there
would be no planes in the air in the US. I will forever link that unnatural
solitude of the skies with the horror of yesterday.

My friends who live closer to Philadelphia also commented on the strange
quiet outside last night.

Thanks for the thought,

Darin Fields
