Re: [APML] Messier Photographic Catalog (Updated)



I have a basic question.  What is the "pureness" philosophy behind the
Messier gallery website.  The link to my LX-90 taken M51:

http://home.earthlink.net/~rjkrejci/Gallery/m51ccdfilm.jpg

is actually a hybrid LRGB Film/CCD image as noted at the bottom.  My
original Slide is at:

No opinions on what is right...I just want to not be "cheating" with a part
CCD image (even if it is from a 6 year old ST-5) :)
