Re: [APML] Storing negatives and slides properly

Thanks for the replies.

To Bert:
It's always a problem to keep track of many pix, be it slides or negatives.
But it's surely more practical to use plastic bags and folders.

To George and Mark:
You both brought up a very important and delicate issue, which I didn't
think of: not to buy cheap sheets that would destroy the images. But how to
make sure I didn't get a time bomb but a good means of preserving that
hard-earned "jewels" of mine? <G> (Just kidding, it's berly junk as
compared to most people on this list, but it's mine!)
In fact, I now recall that some of them used to be somewhat
"plastic-stinking", but they've been stored away from any negative or slide
for at several months and they no longer smell of anything to the average
"snout".
Furthermore, some of them look like being electrostatic-friendly, therefore
picking up quite a bit of dust.

What can I do zap those annoyances and get on the safe side?

Thanks
Emmanuele
