[APML] Which Film Scanner

Just joined the list so please excuse me if I am covering an old, worn out
topic here.......

I am looking at film scanners on EBay but have found out that there are as
many types and brands as there are stars in the sky.  Soooo, I am confused
(what's new, eh?)

Anyway,  I already have a flatbed scanner so don't necessarily need a
film/flatbed combination.  I am looking to pay no more than $200 used or new
for the best resolution I can get from scans of astrofilm negatives and
positives.  USB or Parallel will do but I prefer USB.

So, what types/brands do any of you suggest that would give the best
resolution for $200 new or used on EBay?
