To answer your last question: a "brick" is a shrink-wrapped package of
(usually) 10 rolls of film. The pros use huge amounts of film for their
shoots (sometimes 20-40 36 exposure rolls per day [daylight shoots, of
course]), so they need film in easily handled and stored chunks. Kodak seems
to supply their film in boxes of 5 rolls (and sometimes 20), but the other
manufacturers usually supply 10 roll blocks (bricks).
