I'm going to chime in here and agree with both of you.  I have also done my
fair share of field processing E-6.  In the 1980's, I did a ton of it at the
Texas Star Party and I was quite happy with the results.  But on the other
hand, I recognize that Tony is applying a science to his E-6 process and he
operates on a professional plane that is much higher than our hobby level.
I'm sure Tony could scientifically examine my field processed films and find
various faults them, but I am happy with them anyway.
