[APML] CCDSoft & TheSky Users - Virus Alert
After a week of trying to track down why CCDSoft and TheSky stopped
working, I have finally traced it to the SIRCAM (SIRC32) Virus. Here
is more info:

CCDSoft and TheSky are rather unique in that they became inoperable before
any other symptoms occur. If you have either of these program and they have
stopped working, I urge you to check your system for this virus. As a quick
check, you can look for a SirC32.exe reference in your autobat file.
Once the virus was removed, both CCDSoft and TheSky returned to normal
operation.
I have been very active with computers/internet for the last 8 years and have
never had a virus. This one got by me. The virus spreads quickly on a
network - that was why all three of my network computers had the program
failures at the same time. I believe the source was an email asking for help
with an attached document.
