I just recently bought a K1000.  It doesn't have a replaceable focusing
screen.  No mirror lock-up.  It does have a fully mechanical bulb exposure
(it takes batteries, but those just run the light meter).  I'm happy with
it so far.  I've been using it with the top-hat method to avoid problems
that could result from mirror slam.
