[APML]: Map of buisy hours on APML
It would be interesting to make a sort of timetable-map of the traffic
of this list, considering that the great majority of the members is
resident in U.S.A.
But between the two coasts there are 3 hours difference!
It is also remarkable that many members get connected during work hours.
I am close to Greenwich time (one hour delay).
I have noticed that there is a black-out corresponding to the period
between 8 A.M and 3 P.M Grenwich time: one or two messages only.
If i am not wrong in NY it should be 3 AM to 10 AM, and in LA 0 to 7
AM.
Another small black out is between 9 PM and 11 PM (I guess lunch time
in CA)
A lot of messages come from west coast, I believe due to ideal
conditions to practice astronomy in many large CA areas.
The hot hours according to my experience are between 4 and 7 AM Green.
My considerations could appear obvious, but it would be interesting in
my opinions to know when a message arriving to the list will be seen
by more people. Usually interesting public messages are answered in a
very short time.
Who knows if the administrators of the list have detailed info about...
I would like to have a sort of diagram of the traffic!
Ciao to all
