[APML]: Reviewing earlier postings on film scanners

I would like to review the comments made by several people on their
experiences with various 35mm film scanners.  At the time, I didn't know
enough about digital techniques to appreciate what they were commenting
on.  How do you 'follow a thread' on a mailing list?

My interest is to scan a Tech Pan negative on to the computer,
experiment as to the possibilities using Lview Pro, Printshop Pro, etc.,
then enlarge (chemically, B&W) as indicated by the best results.
