I've read the ASTRO and my own 'meteorobs' mailing lists in digest form for
about eight months now: ASTRO is much higher volume (usually) than APML, and
reading it in digest is definitely more convenient than having individual
messages scattered all over my inbox (and it's just about as convenient as
having an efficient autofiler/mailfilter). Anyway, if it weren't too much
trouble for our dedicated list admins to set up, it'd certainly be worth
offering subscribers the option, don't you think?
The only DISADVANTAGE I see with the digest is that it's generally 12 to 24
hours behind the main list: but considering the number of rapid-fire multiple
responses we see to certain questions (I think you mentioned this first,
Alfredo), that MIGHT not always be a bad thing. :) Just my $0.02,
