[APML]: ADMIN MESSAGE Farewell from Michael Covington

The following farewell message was sent to the list from Michael Covington.
Because of the certain key words in the message, the listserver bounced it
to the admin account. This is a 'feature' of the list serve software that
attempts to prevent admin requests from making it to the list itself.
Normally it does the right thing and even when it doesn't we often don't
have the time to do anything about it. However in this case we thought it
appropriate that this message finds its way to the list. He was a valued
contributor and we hope his schedule permits him to return soon.

I regret that due to an escalating workload (in a field other than
astronomy!)  and a limited-size mailbox, I'm going to have to
temporarily unsubscribe from this mailing list.  Everybody, please
*do* feel free to contact me when there is anything I can help you
with, or when you have suggestions for the revision of my book.  I am
especially interested in film test results and the ongoing saga of
Ektachrome Elite II 100 and would enjoy hearing from those who have
results to share.  Many thanks for all the useful discussion; I hope
to reappear when Fall Quarter is over!
