Funny... I'd imagine most amateur astronomers (being self-made, do-it-yourself 
sorts of conservative folks), would be outraged at the idea of someone "monkey 
wrenching" respectable real-estate developers and other business men, without 
regards for those business people's god-given property rights, etc., etc. When 
the pollution strikes close to home though, responses are a little different.

Anyway, please carry on the thread! Like with most other discussions I've seen 
so far on this list, it is chock-full of useful info. Clear (dark) skies,
