YUP ... the first developer in these processes is a B&W developer ...
develops the silver images ....  tried MWP-2 once ... it was 'interesting'
....
i'd suggest some junk film tests before using telescope time ...

you can also ... very delicately .. and in tiny quantities !!!! ... add a
TINY dab of benzotriazole to the first developer to drop fog levels .. but
this is a delicate!!! and touchy technique ....    back in the days when
I had an interest in color films ... <G>... and I have a 'few' contacts
in the art community who tinker in color ....

try these on test rolls !!! .... shoot LED lit rooms or star trails or
color test charts for your tests .... not telescope time ...

I'd bet D-19 should make for some interesting results ... but it might
also kick up the grain .... ....
