Lew, this is the first I have heard of TL. Do you have any contact info you
can share?

I too have had platform envy and have wished for some sort of entry level
way to experiment with it. I have also visited the website with the
build-your-own writeup but found it would be beyond my limited "skills". At
AstroFest I looked long and hard at the DOBDriver but I am hesitant to make
permanent revisions to my Obsession 20.

Even if it wasn't sufficient for CCD I would find it a positive asset for
drawing and for the occasional star party where the scope is aimed at the
same object for extended periods while folks take turns viewing.
