In film astrophotography, using any of a number of tools for polar
alignment
are helpful. This will help speeding up the time for perfect accuracy,
being very important. Only REPEATED drifting methods, will verify
the needed quality to elevates field rotation during lengthy exposers.
This can take considerable time, when done correctly. Carl
