RE: [APML] IC 410 uploaded and IC 405 adjusted



Alan, this tool is ESSENTIAL for Astrophotographers, and Ill be glad to
explain it.  Open you image, and hit cntl-L to bring up the levels dialog
box.  On the lower right are three eyedropper symbols in a row.  The middle
one is the gray eyedropper.  click on it, and now anywhere you click with it
in your image, it will try to make it neutral gray.  where you want to click
it is in the sky between the stars.  You may have to click it several times
to get the right neutral gray background.

OK, I've decided to bite the bullet and expose my ignorance, but, I
don't know how to use the eyedropper thingy. I have never used it and
don't understand how to use it, or even in what context to use it. Any
useful advice out there?
