Re: [APML] Lunar Eclipse - Film

Wade;

     When I scanned Kodak Professiona Ultra Color 400 with my Photosmart @
2400DPI TIF raw without any adjustments I was amazed how dense the image
was. I adjusted the black and mid-points and did a little smoothing in CS.

     When I bought Kodak Professiona Ultra Color 400 I also bought a couple
rolls of Kodak Versatality 800 because of its "Low Light" designator. I
shot the Pelican, N.American, Flaming Star and Rosette nebulea all at 90mins
each. Nothing on the Versatality 800 came out good with one exception.

     All objects photographed came out a very light pink, almost grey,
hardly any red at all. The Flaming neb star was almost totally absent of
pink but the blue reflection portion surprizingly came through quite well.

     Thkx for your input, I had read the same post as you and thought I had
yet another couple daylight rolls, (yea not that don't I already have 40-50
rolls already). :P But since the eclips came out so well on UC I figured
I'd try a shot or two on deep sky objects anyway...joe :)
