[APML] Eclipse thru the eyepiece
Hello again!
I started scanning in some photos last night of the eclipse and worked on a shot of the moon I took when it was half eclipsed. Unexpectedly, I guess with the slight haze I was shooting through and a lucky selection of exposure times, the film *almost* had enough dynamic range to show both dark and bright regions...although the lightest and darkest areas are at the ragged edge of what you can see. I ended up blending in a shorter exposure for the bright region to help out (20% opacity layer).
I was happy with the results because I got a pic that looked almost exactly like it did through the eyepiece..complete with slight haze and soft focus from atmospheric conditions (not that I wanted the slight haze and soft focus). It's not detailed or sharp by any means, but I still like the results
I replaced the shot I previously posted on my website. Click link below and please let me know what you think good or bad...feedback will help when I tinker with the rest of the shots I took Wed night.
