Just joined the APML list.

Anyways, since Kodak discontinued TP it seems like Ha imaging with film

is slowly going under.

Unfortunately I have never had the chance to try it, so I have always

shot E200.

It seems like for now E200 would be a somewhat worthy follower to TP.

Did some testing with E200 and a Astronomik 13nm Ha filter, results can

be found at http://www.home.no/svelo/temp/

The Ha picture is a 40min exposure, and the color one is 40min Ha+20min

unfiltered.

An interesting concept.
So.....you exposed E200 for 40 minutes with the Ha filter and 20 minutes
unfiltered?
The results are interesting.

At first, I thought exposing E200, a color transparency film, thru an Ha
filter was not worthy of consideration. It seems E200 should record all the Ha it
can unfiltered, but then the same could be said for hypered Tech Pan.
Sometimes Ha filters are used in light polluted areas to filter out the polluting
wavelengths with Tech Pan......so, I guess, why not with E200?

There seems to be more than one way to skin a cat.
