I plan to use my D70. What I noticed with my recent Harvest Moon shot (taken at ISO 1600 and
1/4000th shutter speed) was that I avoided a lot of blurring from mirror slap this way (no lock up
on the D70). I think even with a factor of 400x exposure during totality, I am still under 1
second. What do you think of this approach? I expected to sacrifice a lot of detail shooting at
1600 but it is really crisp blown up to 8x10. I was pleasantly surprised.
