[APML] More on mounting slide film

Hey Chris and all,

I was just cleaning up my inbox and came across this comment from
Chris. Upon reading it, I decided to check to see if what he said is
true. And it is, at least as far as the one scanned slide shot I
checked. There was no elongation in the corners of the slide shot, but
there is in every one of the negative shots I've done. I noticed the
artifact as I checked for dust and scratches at 200%. I assumed it was
due to field curvature of the scope. Now, I believe it's due to what
Chris describes below, uneven center to corner focus. I left his
message intact below.

Another advantage of mounted film is that they are VERY easy to load in
the scanner carrier. They slide right in and are held tightly without
much risk of getting fingerprints on the film. The entire scan process
went quite a bit quicker this way and was less frustrating.
