Very nice Alan!! The M45 shot looks good, better than anything I've
been able to get. And for the M33 shots, I think #4-Jerry's jpg looks the
best. I say this because the nebulosity within the galaxy is more
visible. The others are good but #4 gets my vote. Keep it up!
Gary

Subject: [APML] M45 uploaded &
multiple M33s for your opinion
Hey all,
I will not have time to upload any shot info to
the site until at least tonight, or tomorrow. M45 is a combine of a 70
mintue and a 125 minute shot on supra 400 through the FS-102 at the f/8
prime focus. This is the best I've ever been able to get of M45 as it's
been one of those 'holy grail' (for me) targets that begs for a great shot
and presentation. I ended up taking almost all the red out of it
somehow and will probably work with it some more. I am interested in
your comments on my processing, or lack thereof. 8-)
On the same
page, I have uploaded 4 shots of M33. I used various processing techniques
suggested by Jerry Lodriguss and Scott Ireland to come up with these and
would appreciate knowing your thoughts on them. I'd like to thank them for
sharing their knowledge with me and all of us. I really need to read more
of PS for Astrophotographers but can never seem to get around to it. If you
could let me know which of them is more visually pleasing, I'd appreciate
it. I have a favorite, but I'll keep it to myself. Actually, I'd have to
look at them again to remember which it is. 3 look alike to me with one
being different.
I will have more shots as time goes by as we had nice
weather a couple weeks ago. Humidity was high leading to bright skies
though, still, it was clear, so bear with me. Here's the link:

Thanks, Alan
