Thanks for the nice comments. I have updated the page which now includes a
similar shot with E200. It is also a bit bright, but the colors seem nicer
to me. It's all a personal choice I guess.

Scott, that's a lovely star trail composition with the foreground trees.
It's a keeper!
To judge the film's colour response, and the nature of the "big difference
in color" that you report, we'd really need to see your E200 trails side by
side with it. But from the Velvia shot alone, the trails seem to be
predominantly bluish, with weak oranges and reds. I'd expect more
pronounced/diverse colours with E200.
