Re: [APML] OT: Chasing Rainbows and Fall Colours
Thanks Stuart !
Like George mentionned , you can give him a print if he accept ! But in this case , IMO , I don't think you should have his permission because nobody can recognize the farmer , we don't see his face clearly ! But as a gentlemen you are , I'm sure you'll ask him his permission ( if you want use this picture ) and like this you are going to have the calm conscience ;)
btw: it's surely long for you to upload your pictures on your site ;))
Clear skies !
Dom :)

Dom, sorry for the delay in replying, I've got a slow phone line and was looking at all your pics. They are great! Beautiful colours - Quebec is famous for its fall colours and you have captured them wonderfully. Thanks!
As for my farmer pic - not sure the protocol here. He was very far away and it was raining so I didn't manage to get his permission and since he's on his own property doing his own work, he doesn't fall into the category of being a public person (someone expecting to be photographed or in a crowded public space). I don't think it is fair to submit the photo without his permission (or post it here now that I come to think it through). Not sure - thoughts on that? I suppose I could print it up and take over and ask him. Offer him a copy for his permission. Not sure what Mennonites think about photography.
