Alan,

I live in Pendleton, Oregon which receives far more clear nights
than Seattle, but what location doesn't when compared to Seattle.:)


It already looks like a band of cirrus is moving through my site,
located near Ritter, so perhaps it turned out "good" that I couldn't
go out tonight.  Unfortunately, I got a bug last Saturday and
haven't been able to take advantage of the clear nights we've had.
It appears last night was by far the best.  I'll have to catch
another elusive clear night in the future.
