Hi Steve

As Vicent said, you must be very carefull when applying SGBNR to just one channel, becouse you can introduce a false cast. (BTW, you have to adjust again the black and white points of the image after the noise reduction). If the noise in the red channel is greater than in the other ones, try SGBNR in the L|a|b color space.

If you need further help, you can post to us a small section of the image =) We'll give you our suggestions as process icons.

BTW, Did you use the default setting or you adjusted the sides protections?

I encourage you to read all the help files. There are a lot of things that must be cleared before playing around.
