Re: [APML] OT: DSS image processed: Barnard 142/143Complex ("E"Nebula)

Hi Vicent--a quick question.
I've just downloaded PixInsight LE, and am experimenting with it.

I have 3 R G B images of NGC7000 I want to combine to make a color picture.
I want to apply a small amount of blur to just the red channel to reduce
noise in the nebulosity.

It seems when I try to apply SGBNR to just the Red channel in
PixInsight the contrast level changes drastically,
and the color balance of the resulting combined RGB is almost entirely red.
I admit, I haven't read all the help files, but is there a simple step
I'm overlooking?

Steve
(ps the images come from the "Dark Side", but the application should be
the same in either case)
