BTW, there's a typo on the page which you linked: "with the 1.2 meter UK 
Schmidt Camera at Mount Palomar Observatory.". The UK Schmidt is in 
Australia, at Siding Spring: http://www.aao.gov.au/

So I presume Vicent means the 1.2 m Samuel Oschin Schmidt Telescope at 
Mount Palomar.
