RE: [APML] What's the Longest Exposure for an ASA 800 Film

Darren,

You really have a nice shot there. It's evident the film does
suffer from some reciprocity failure since you were able to expose
an ASA 800 film for such a length of time. I'm hoping to do some
experiments this upcoming new moon. Basically, I'm going to try and
figure out what's the optimum exposure given my dark sky (i.e. I
hope to find the point where there's little gain in exposing any
longer due to the films failure to record any more information). If
it's anything like Fuji NGHII, it's probably around 10-15 minutes at
f/2.8. If mother nature is kind, I'll let the group know by mid
November.
